66 Chevy c10 ignition switch removal
I'm trying to remove my ignition switch to take the cluster out, and the pin in the ignition won't push in. Any tips?

I did the same, just need to have a strong pin to push it in with. I had a very small screw driver that I used.

Re: 66 Chevy c10 ignition switch removal
I've tried to do the same as in the video. I'm using a small screwdriver and no matter how hard i press in, it never gives or anything. My ignition looks a bit different, flat face and only one hole. I assume its the same process to remove it, do have to have the key turned a certain way to depress the pin? I've had it straight up and down, and it'll only move right to maybe 1 O'clock and then to 3 O'clock.

I used a pick or awl to do it, takes finesse for me to get it, doesn't just pop out.
