Electric choke
I found a good deal on a edlebrock carburator 600cfm 4bbl which has electric choke. I believe the carburator on my 327 engine has manual choke. Anybody knows if I can bypass the electrick choke or if I can switch to electric choke instead of manual chocke?
By the way sorry about the pictures, It didn't go as it was planed. I am working on them. |

Personally, I'd go w/ teh electric choke. All you have to do is run a wire that turns on & off w/ your ignition to the choke. Thats about it.

The electric choke is the only way to go. Wiring is a snap then you forget about it.

I have an edelbrock 750 cfm with a manual choke. ('67 set up) Is it possible to put an electric choke on it now?

You can probably get an electric choke conversion. They run anywhere from $30 (AutoZone special) to $60 or so. I've never done a manual to electric conversion, but it you would probably have to change a few parts out. Nothing too big, but food for thought.
