I've got one of each at this point. I do like the Blazer but having to deal with the emissions every year is getting old. (& expensive). It's been a good rig though, got it with 78K and now it's at 185k. It is hard to beat for shooting around town and 22 MPG on the highway is nice. The back seat hasn't been vertical in years. I think the family has forgotten it is there.
I may go LS transplant but that's not a simple fix either with the DEQ folks around here these days. Plus since my back surgery I can't go more than about an hour on freeway in it. No problems like that in the Burban. I was looking for a 73 to 74 2wd Blazer when I bought the S10. To good of a deal to pass up. So the girlfriend was going to drive it a year and then I would flip it.
