I bet it'd be cheaper to make a controller out of an LS3 engine computer somehow.
The standalone computer is around $800. I just have no idea how well it works, whether it's using the factory shift programming, all of that. I assume it's basically pretending to be the "car CAN BUS environment" and sends it the RPM and TPS and all of the other data that it'd normally be getting from the engine computer.
