Hi I just wanted to introduce myself. I was referred by a fella on a Chevy Facebook group. I just purchased a 66 Chevy long bed stepside C10. I plan on using it as my daily driver to travel the country pulling my 15 ft camper and selling essential oils. No bills just freedom, it's been my dream for a very long time.
I drove a semi for 5 years and saw a lot of the country, (from the freeway) now I want to explore that back roads. I do all my own wrenching but don't have any formal training so Im glad to be here to ask questions and learn. I've already changed the fuel pump, water pump, alternator, starter, shocks, all fluids, brakes, tune up blah blah...lol Thanks for accepting a girl lol... |

Re: New member
It would be in your best interest to convert the front brakes to disc. Way safer, and it sounds like you plan to put a lot of miles on your awesome 66!
