1-1/8" Holes
The holes for the hood lamp sockets are 1-1/8" - Can't seem to find the thread asking for that info. I just got a new hood lamp housing, getting the screws ordered, new lamp sockets and I'll be putting these together. Also #8-32 X 3/4" screws to put the housings in I'm thinking. Couldn't find that answer either.

Re: 1-1/8" Holes
Anyone know the size of the screws that hold on the aluminum trim for the hood turn signals? I need to buy speed nuts and screws for them. I'm assuming they are #8? sheet metal screw with oval head? Anyone know?

Re: 1-1/8" Holes
I used #8 stainless flathead. If you use an aftermarket slip on speed nut, you'll have to bend it a little - I had to replace a couple of missing OE ones and the aftermarket ones required a little tweaking.

Re: 1-1/8" Holes
By the way someone was having a problem with the aftermarket lights staying in the housings previously. Instead of using the plastic units most of the parts houses sell I found a light that is metal and has a ground lug built into it is very solid when fitting into the hole of the light housing. The plastic units really dont hold in that well.
