Canadian SPID Label?

Did all Canadian built trucks have the SPID label located on the left inner fender well?

Was wondering as all the trucks I've seen, have it located in the glove box..

Re: Canadian SPID Label?

Some trucks through the years had them on the inner fender.

I do not recall which ones but it seems like it was model year specific rather than assembly plant specific.

Thanks for the reply

I don't like it on the inner fender.

So, seeing that it differs from year to year, I'm going to put it in the glove box.... Where, IMHO, it belongs....

Just wanted to be correct in the placement.

Re: Canadian SPID Label?

I've got a '73 on the fender, and a '87 in glovebox. Where the split was, I have no idea.

Re: Canadian SPID Label?

My 1984 K10 was built in Canada and had the SPID decal on the left inner fender just as a data point.
