Sort of related, with these tachs that require a transmitter, what was the popular or factory install location of the transmitter box?

Years ago, I removed a factory tach cluster from a '62 C60 farm truck. That one had the transmitter box mounted inside the cab on the firewall. It was over on the passenger side near where the heater duct comes through the firewall. However, that's the only example of a factory installed tach I've come across in a 60-62 truck so can't say for sure that's a standard location for the transmitter box in all 60-62 trucks.
