New Member/Ride
Hello,
New member here and new to the Chevy / GMC truck community. Bought this truck about two weeks ago. Put the new riddler rims on this week. Planning to clean up the interior and engine bay and leave the rest alone. Has the 350 with a decent cam and 350 transmission.. looking forward to learning about these trucks and getting involved. Thanks |

Re: New Member/Ride
Looks like a real nice one. Welcome! 68? Hard to tell if it's a slant nose from the picture there.

Welcome to the community. Blue is a quite fantastic color for your engine, it really pops.

Thanks !! Think I am gonna leave the roof blue , but also like the white top.. have some blue paint on its way for the tail gate.. the truck has its fair share of rust and patina. Planning on leaving it. Gonna fix the powering steering leak and the. Just enjoy .. I like the patina/ratbrod style..

Re: New Member/Ride
Thank you everyone!
The truck has a 3/5 inch drop using shocks and springs... I would like to get the front end lower so it has a little rake.. I am guessing I can use a drop spindle.. I am only seeing 2 inch or larger as an option.. Anyone have any experience with a 5 inch total front end drop? |

Re: New Member/Ride
Awesome looking truck. Loving the rim and tire combo. 20" ?
From what i have gathered so far from this site to get 5" total drop in the front you will need to do both springs and spindles. I would guess your truck already has at least 3" dropped on the front. |

Re: New Member/Ride
I take The rules of a good running truck.I know quite a lot of people that have grand fathers or uncial's.That have safety and well being of your trucks.Sense you live in a state that gets figgen cold as hell. And i know your Beater that you drive around has a working heater.Wht not your pride and joy.
You know the heater is what keeps you from blowing the head gasket unless you like doing them did not think about that before my Rant.Working heater in that truck makes all the sense.Plus it dose not look like crap when its not hooked up |

Re: New Member/Ride
Maybe he installed the emblems?
Enough of that. Nice truck you have there. I do like the color and the engine compartment and I wish my interior was as nice as yours is.
