Hood support inserts
Just wondering what is being used as the hood inserts for under the braces on this 60 hood. I have a set of these foam type pads but they do not offer the support to keep the hood as straight as it should be. I would like to get something in there to get it stiff enough to actually block it out and shoot it and these foam inserts are just not cutting it. I have it shimmed up currently with door shims but they obviously cannot be permanent and would like to put something in there and be done with it.
Thanks in advance |

Re: Hood support inserts
I don't know if they have an minimum order requirement these days but I would check with these guys for a thicker or stiffer foam. They're there in Spokane.

Re: Hood support inserts
You mean the foam under the hood braces?

Re: Hood support inserts
How about bending the supports upwards to minimize the gap?
