a baby IH 4x4

this kinda goes along with my Columbus build. .I found a 1959 IH toy truck...made by the true scale company....I'm gonna take it apart and paint it to match Columbus. ..its as close as I could come to finding a 57 IH...the 59 has the different grill and 4 headlights...a 57-58 has single headlights..

Tru-Scales are way cool. Not cheap either. You found a pretty decent one. They are in there with the early Ertl replicas. A smaller scale than the other pressed steel trucks with authentic details, more of a promo than a toy. Did you check to see if they made your tear replica?

Ok, I just checked and it looks like they held off changing from the A-series till '59. Looks like they made one version of each body style in the years they were in production.

Re: a baby IH 4x4

sorry S-K..i missed your earlier reply...
I looked for a while and couldn't find a 57-58 for sale...and correct... the 'a' series was 57-58...then in 59 it changed to the 'b' series....I think I can mod this one to be good enough though....gotta take it apart and see what I can do....this is what I wish I could have found

Speaking of International, Firstgear is doing a 1963 C 1100 in 1/25th.:

https://www.firstgearonline.com/whats-new/may-2018/

Now, everyone Email Firstgear and tell them to do a classic GMC pickup. They did a very nice 1/25th. 1968 C-10.

That came out great! Now you need to do a replica in full size.

Ok, I'll wait a while. I always wished I had the money to get a run off trucks custom painted/imprinted. I'm surprised this website hasn't at least done a Hot Wheels. I am sure they would sell/resell like hot cakes. Just a minimum order to keep the collector value higher
