New Backup lights
Got tired of striking a match to see if backup lights were working. I have a little cabin in the NC mountains and it was almost impossible to see to back up at night.
I bought a pair of 3" led cubes form Quadratec a while back and just had time to install. I have bought jeep parts from them and always got quality. They were on sale for $39. Each has 6 led's and I was initially concerned that they might draw more amps than a single bulb. I checked with my fluke meter and was supervised to see that they draw a few tenth's less so I didn't have to run more service. I made brackets to tuck them under the tail lights and did away with the old lights and ears. Put it reverse tonight and damn. |
