70 C20 with Carter AFB 9605S throttle connection??

Bought Carter AFB 9605S and installed on 402 but stock linkage incompatable. Stock linkage has a bulbous type ending while carb has no pop in hole to connect to. Anyone know what I can do or where to search for a part to connect my throttle linkage to this type of carb?
The picture shows linkage connected by simply placing bulbous end of link arm through relatively large hole in carb lever and held in place by spring. Not funtional though.
Picture is rotated 90 degrees left for some reason?

Your afb is the same as an eddy carb.
Many different brackets available that bolt onto yours. Easy to make one too.
Here’s some ideas.
