WTB Charcoal Canister

Just realized one of the ports on my canister is broken off. Anyone have a good one they are willing to part with?

Re: WTB Charcoal Canister

I have a 72 that I believe has three ports I could spare. It came from my blue blazer.

Re: WTB Charcoal Canister

I have my old one as well. But depending on what you're building you may want to get a replacement one from NAPA. I can get a part number from the one I bought. Nearly identical.

I searched and searched but could only find 73 and later. Not sure what the difference is if any. Even the Corvette restorers dont have the 71-72 version. I came across a lot of "discontinued". If you have a part # that would be of great help..

Here's the one I removed from my 72 Blazer and the box with part numbers for the NOS piece I replaced it with.

Re: WTB Charcoal Canister

The OP might try drilling out the broken port so a piece of steel/brass/whatever tubing can be inserted and epoxy it. Nothing to lose...
