2003 Sierra 2500HD 4 x 4 Duramax 6 speed
Good Evening Gentlemen,
Is anyone out there running a Duramax with a 6-speed standard? Mine has been a great truck until suddenly I seem to be having clutch issues. Truck worked fine with zero symptom's until Friday. Jumped in to drive truck home, and with clutch peddle depressed truck will not go into gear. I stopped engine, and started in gear, and the truck moves with clutch pedal depressed. Drove home using engine RPM to shift. Clutch is not slipping. Anyone have similar problem? The pedal does feel different then it used to. Slave cylinder master cylinder has fluid in it. Nothing with the pedal appears to be broken. Has anyone had similar problem? What did you have to repair? Thanks |

Sounds like the slave cylinder is done. I would replace it...

Thanks Joseph..... I'm thinking the same thing from the research I have done. Would you know if a special tool is required to disconnect the supply line from the slave cylinder?
