Heater Blower Motor Question
We are experiencing a heat wave here and I am enjoying using the factory A/C in my 72 which works fine. My question is when I have the fan on the highest position the noise form the motor is super loud as opposed to the 2/3 lower fan speeds. Is this a normal thing with factory A/C as you can't really have a conversation in the truck when the blower is on high.

Re: Heater Blower Motor Question
Mine doesn't. It's pretty quite and that with my hearing aids in.
It's fairly easy to take out though.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |

Re: Heater Blower Motor Question
It is definitely louder, because it is m moving more air. Hard to determine if yours is working correctly without hearing it. Is it rumbling or squealing or just louder from moving significantly more air?

Re: Heater Blower Motor Question
Just louder. I'd say its 50% louder than at the speed before.
