mine has been setup temporarily like this for about ten years now

and pretty much for the same reasons too. after i get the truck back running again, i'm going to take it down and have 3" duals ran back and dumped at the axle

what about you guys that have 4 link/ladder setups with the ass-end down a ways... what kind of setup are you running?

wow, thanks.

ok, just got it back from the shop...

since i'm a stock kind of guy i went behind the rear wheels with dual dynomax turbos. there are no tips, just neatly tucked pipes.

sounds really good. rumbles a bit but not obnoxiously.

certain rpms i can really feel in the floorboard. i have dynomat underneath my rubber matt. would a layer on dyno behind my gas tank cut the rumble a bit in the cab?

I Too Like GMCJunkie...whoop...I mean I too, like GMCJunkie have exhaust that exits before my rear axle.

I get compliments about it all the time and it's not even a special setup at all. I don't think I'll change it either I like the way it echoes and rumbles from beneath the bed...

They dump down behind the mufflers, ahead of the rear axle - because it was cheap, and so am I!

Might have exited in front of the rear tires, but didn't want the pipes that close to my saddle tanks.

i have noticed that headers, 2 1/2" pipe, 'H' pipe and 2 chamber flows with turn downs before the axle is the most common. thats how mine is too

My LWB has stock manifolds running straight back to flowmaster then up and over the rear and then straight down. Will be changing it soon, too much dust being kicked up. Was sitting in my dads driveway (gravel and dirt) at idle and it kicked up a huge dust cloud. It sounds good, just can't handle having to wear a dust mask.
