47 lower window guide
What holds the rear lower window channel in place? There's a crinkle cut tin channel hanging loose in there and that's it. I have a classics parts and LMC catalog but neither list anything. I'm not close to the part where I'm ready to start ordering window rubber and moldings yet, but need to know where the window sits when it's down. I have some different latches I want to try but there isn't much extra room in there.

Re: 47 lower window guide
Had to wait until morning to get pictures. Am I missing a piece? Or is that channel supposed to have ears on it to screw to the door?

Re: 47 lower window guide
The latch side of the door has the window channel guide with the flange to screw it to the door. The other side of the door. I believe, is not removable.
I am starting a bear claw installation and had to bump out the install kit to clear the channel. Just getting into it, hope I made the right choices. |

Re: 47 lower window guide
It looks a lot like this but this is for one without the window frame around the glass. I can't find one for the 47! I have mine, I can post a photo of it but I can't find one for sale for you.

Re: 47 lower window guide
This is so odd, I found the front one, which originally was a welded in piece, but not the rear which bolts in and I would think would be readily available, odd.

Re: 47 lower window guide
Do they call it something odd in the catalogs or is that something that they don't make?.
