Yes, the chips are in the bottom 6" of the right rear fender. The front fenders have been hit before but nothing hit hard enough to do any damage.

Thinking about it, the right rear fender is the one I coated with spray-on polyester filler. Most of the filler was sanded back off but it's possible that the filler type makes a difference.
