Absolutely correct! The parallel flow are WAY more efficient than the earlier serpentine... HOWEVER, they are also disposible. This means that, sometime in the future, if/when it gets clogged or starts leaking, just pull it out, throw it away and replace it.

If the rest of your AC system is clean though, the parallel flow condensor should give a couple of decades of good service.

Personally, I like these condensors because they make up for R134 not being as efficient as the old R12 refrigerant.
