Seat Belt Hardware Question

I removed my interior yesterday to install sound proof material and a new carpet. While removing the seat belts, I saw the hardware was definitely incorrect.

What size are the bolts for holding the seat belts down? I assume they are shoulder bolts to prevent the plate from wearing down from rubbing on threads.

Also, who sells new seat belt hardware kits?

They are 1/2"-13 bolts, but are special. Just about any of the vendors can supply you with what you need. Seems like a common enough bolt that you might find them at a regular parts store in the "Help!" section, though. Worth checking out.

Thank you, I am hoping someone comes along and provides dimensions of the shoulder end.

How difficult would you rate this project? If you're not done yet, maybe you could answer when you are? This would be nice to do. And are you reference any specific threads?

I assume you are asking about installing Sound Deadening material and new carpet...

Amazingly simple.
Up to 8 bolts holding the seat down (Mine had 4).
Remove carpeting,
Clean out any surface rust,
Clean floor really well,
Install self stick sound deadening material,
Install new carpet,
Reinstall seat (She now has 6 bolts) I may get under there to add two more.
Seat was a ***** lining up the bolt holes but I got it done.
Everything was done alone except for taking seat in and out (Two man job to prevent scratching)

I stupidly did not take any pictures. DOH!
