1947-54 Chev/GMC Bed Floor Measurements

Need to confirm the stock bed and long bed length and width measurements for the 47-54 Chev/GMC truck bed floors.

Are you looking for the board length or the overall length and width of the bed.?

This is for a 52 scroll down the page and it shows the inside measurements for a short bed, scroll further and it shows the long bed. That is inside not overall and it isn't the exact wood size https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/doc...olet-Truck.pdf

Looking at that page this morning the inside of the box is 78 x 50 for a short box an 87 x 50 for a 3/4 ton.

You can bring up this page on the GM Herritage center site and pick most any year of Chevy truck for the specs https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/gm-...tion-kits.html

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
