Panhard Bar
Is there any panhard bar kits beside ccp deluxe panhard that clears a TA 12 bolt rear cover? I’m also looking for 5” drop rear springs with a firmer spring rate that the CCP for a 69 c10. I’m getting bad wheel hop with my recent extra power. I have nice Viking double adjustable shocks but I’m thinking the current springs are to soft and need more spring rate.

Not sure on the panhard bar. Tighten up the rear shocks. That should help you wheel hop.

The Hotchkis rear coils are pretty firm, I'm currently running them on my truck but they are 6" drop, so that probably doesn't help you. Hotchkis included spring plates to adjust the ride height a little bit though. They don't beat you to death on the highway, but they definitely feel firmer than stock springs I had before lowering the truck. They are rated at 380#/in. I'm running Chassisworks DA Vari-shocks on damn near full soft too. I have never tried CPP's rear springs, so I don't know how they'd compare with the Hotchkis springs. I will say I've never experienced any wheel hop at all with the Hotchkis springs, but I don't know if I have what you'd consider 'extra power' - I may not even have enough torque to twist things up out back.
On a side note, GMC Pauls offers drop springs that they can get different springs rates on. If you know what rate you want, you could also get some custom springs wound too. As for the panhard rod, I don't know that either, I'm running the CPP deluxe bar with the Moser Engineering version of the T/A cover you speak of. Everything clears just fine.

The stock length adjustable clears the LPW Ultimate-12 cover well. Both covers are of similar profile.

I'm running the porterbuilt panhard bar and would buy it again in a minute. New frame mount out a little farther and lower, and it attaches all the way over to the other side at the backside of the u bolt/shock mount area. This kit worked with the stock c-10 rear end and also works with my ford 9" rear end in it now!! Nice heim joints on each end with lock nuts and you can lengthen/shorten it's length with one wrench and your hands. Also. remember that you want the panhard bar to be parallel to the rearend at ride height. The porter built kit gives you three mounting holes on the passenger shock location. Travis at Properformance.com will fix you up, fantastic to deal with.

CPP makes heavy duty spring but i believe only in 3 and 4". then you can use a block to lower. summit racing number is CLP-RCS603-4HD. How do you like your Viking double adjustable shocks? Im thinking of purchasing a pair. also is there any other shock you have used and like? Thanks.
