I set mine to read empty when it is completely empty and I never let it get under a 1/2 tank. Except once on a long trip, it almost hit E and I knew E was empty, after E it is running on air. Mine is the factor 30 ohm resistance, I added a capacitor to keep the gauge from moving when fuel sloshes as well.
Whats a gauge if its not accurate?
