Finding the right 7 blade clutch fan

We used that combo on Dad's 66 when we recently swapped a 327 in place of the old 283. That fan was a perfect fit inside the original 66 V8 fan shroud.

However, with a short water pump and original type power steering pump, we noticed that the rear edge of the fan blade was very close to hitting the nut that holds the pulley on the PS pump. So we made a slight change and went with a 2706 clutch which moves the fan blade forward about 1/4" compared to the 2705.
