Re: Front cab mounts
On my 70 3/4 ton, mine were not welded. If they are, it is just usually a spot weld to keep the bolt from turning. Grind the weld off and your home free.

Re: Front cab mounts
Just replaced my cab mounts on my 67 C20 about a month ago. I had to put a socket and long handled ratchet on the top to hold the bolt in place (door open) with one hand while cranking on the nut underneath with a second socket and long handled ratchet (sitting on the floor of my garage). Reverse process with the replacement bolts and bushings to tighten.

Re: Front cab mounts
If somebody's been there before you, those welds are likely already long gone!

Re: Front cab mounts
They weren't all tack welded seems it was an assembly plant item some were some weren't . My concern would be replacing the floor is a huge project compared to removing a cab bolt ,Are you set up for removing the cab and all the work involved ?
