Re: LED Headlight Conversion

Not sure if it matters to most, but the Morimotos' aren't DOT.

The Morimoto's are stamped DOT SAE, so I believe they are DOT legal.

I only mentioned it because I didn't see anything about DOT on the spec page, nor could I see it on the lenses in the picture. If yours actually have that stamped, then they probably are.

I know it does not say it on their page, which is strange. However mine are stamped.

Just because the item has the DOT stamp, doesn't mean it really is. If the company cannot prove (and normally they are proud that they are and will post it on their site) DOT testing, these could be a fake DOT stamp. This is VERY common with Chinese lighting.

Look at J.W. Speaker's site, DOT info is all over it, http://www.jwspeaker.com/products/le...8700-evo-2-db/

We were given two ears and one mouth for a reason... listen twice as much and speak half as often...

Looking again, it does have the info on their website, just not the distributor page I ordered from. They aren’t cheap Chinese crap headlights, they give the JW’s a run for their money.
