Small Block Engine Mounts
I know the mounts got changed somewhere along the line to a safer clam shell type. Can the newer style engine mounts be used in a earlier (70) truck? If so what is involved?

Yes, just get the stands and mounts.
Might as well do a complete crossmember swap so you can get disc brakes.

I think you have to get the shorter 10" frame mounts though but im not sure. someone else might know more here.
