Handle Orientation
Looking at the inner door panel, what is the correct (factory), orientation of the installed door handle and window crank? (Window up, door shut). Thank you.

Re: Handle Orientation
I put this into the wrong forum - can anyone put this in the 67-72 discussion forum for me? Thank you, Ned

Re: Handle Orientation
The door handle has always been horizontal on my trucks and those I've seen. The window crank is a mystery to me. My first thought is to set it straight up, or maybe slightly back with the window up.

Re: Handle Orientation
I always set my window cranks positions to where they don't hit my knee when in the up or down position......since that is the most likely window position when I'm driving...... up or down. I'm sure the factory has preferred position, but I'm in the mindset of my comfort is most important.
