Re: Low budget Garage build "Ted"

All the work was done under a tree or in my garage. Took the six and three speed out. Put in a new 5.7/350 vortec I found half price on CL and got a junkyard 200-4R and rebuilt it myself (first transmission for me). All new suspension parts, brakes, etc. Found a '70 rear axle (wider but still six lug) and rebuilt it. Lowered about 2" in front and 3" in the back. Going to leave the patina but one day paint the medium blue you see on the firewall. I am just glad it is back together and am having a ball driving it. The bed floor and interior is next. You did a great job on your truck!

Boerne is a small town suburb of San Antonio that is starting to grow exponentially. I do not know Allen Duennenberg but here is where it gets weird. I bought the truck from the estate of Harvey Duennenberg. I do not know if there is any relation or not but probably so somewhere.
