Front End Surprises
After getting started back on my truck after a five year stall I found some major front end issues. I knew I had some pretty major issues with lower control arms, but hadn't noticed the crossmember.

Re: Front End Surprises
I was wondering if anyone had went with a new style front cross member, also of a place to locate the lower control arms . It's a 82 1/2 ton . At one there were parts trucks everywhere, but the scrap prices raising few years back a lot of the trucks were discarded around home.

Re: Front End Surprises
if you were closer i have a whole front fut off of a 2wd frame .
maybe think over your build end goal and just buy a bolt in unit to let you coil over it or bag it . . . just a idea . my 2wd build if i had planned ahead a bit more i would have done just that .

Re: Front End Surprises
I think your right about maybe just going with coil overs . I am courious as to how the coil overs handle the front end weight .
