C20 Exhaust Options?

I have a very low mileage C20 and although the original owner stored it for decades, he started it periodically. The exhaust system is riddled with pinholes from the moisture and I want to completely replace it. I will save all of the original hangers and I want to install a new system without altering the chassis in any way. Are there any manufacturers offering a kit like this, or will I need to fabricate one on my own? It's a big block and 3 speed leaf spring chassis, and I am not opposed to stainless or turbo mufflers. By the way - would this truck have come with dual exhaust?

Re: C20 Exhaust Options?

My '70 C20 with BBC came with dual exhaust. If I get the buzz here correctly, ALL big blocks came with dual exhaust. In any event, yours has what looks like mine except for the holes everywhere.

Here's some stuff I found at JEG's, but it isn't all that helpful. Not everything is there for manifold back. Hopefully someone will chime in with something better. I'll be wanting a system eventually.

Check out Waldron's Exhaust. They are in Michigan.

Re: C20 Exhaust Options?

Hooker has a 'manifold back' exhaust system.

There are several other kits listed on Summit Racing, but that is the only manifold back one I saw.

I personally would take it to a shop and have one custom made. I bought a dual exhaust kit a couple years ago I think it was from LMC and they told me it would fit my truck...well it didn't. It wasn't even close, I ended up selling it and taking it to a local shop. It cost a little more but was much happier with it.
