19.5 Wheel photos
Photos of later version 19.5 wheels available as an option on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. ( something like 62’ to 69’ version, smaller windows, etc). The photos show the shape of the wheel and manufacturing information stamping.

Re: 19.5 Wheel photos
Lookin' good. Tough wheel to find. Not sure which is harder to locate, this wheel, or the six lug 17.5 ?

Re: 19.5 Wheel photos
Agree both hard to find, for me it is the 6 lug 17.5 wheels.
Have only found two of them, for 64’ K10. One of the two is a NOS one. What do you think, the 6 lug 17.5 wheels were order less often? If they were needed, a 3/4 ton Truck was perchased. Les Last edited by aotte1; 08-08-2018 at 11:26 AM. |

Re: 19.5 Wheel photos
Great photos Les ! I , around here anyway , have a much harder time finding the 19.5s 8 lug than the 17.5 6 luggers . This year I haven't bought a single truck but Ive been fortunate to have made several good scores on NOS parts , heres the first one including 5 matched NOS 6 lug 17.5s.

Re: 19.5 Wheel photos
Were the 19.5 wheels typically found on commercial vehicles? I don't think I've ever seen them on a pickup.

Re: 19.5 Wheel photos
John,
Those are really nice NOS parts, and 5 17.5 wheels 6 lug! Those 17.5s must have an interesting story to tell as to why they are still new. Do you know, if the 17.5 wheels with 6 lugs were only available on “K” trucks. Les Last edited by aotte1; 08-09-2018 at 12:57 AM. |

Re: 19.5 Wheel photos
Gargoyle,
No expert on what type of vehicles had the 19.5s installed on them more often. Do not know the answer to your question. They were an option on 3/4 and 1 ton pickups thru 1969, I believe. Also available on other chassis trucks and vans. Mine came from pickups. Others have reported that they found them on pick-ups owned by the Forest Service, BLM, etc, and railroads. Les |

Re: 19.5 Wheel photos
I believe members oem4me and yelmer have 19.5s on their red 3/4 ton trucks, yelmer may even have them on his new greenie. Worth googling, they are absolutely beautiful trucks. I have my full set of five 17.5 8 luggers tucked away for someday... Had to piece together a full set, same for the caps - they were even harder to find! Wish I'd started hording parts in the 60's....
