I received mine but haven't installed it yet. It seems to be rigid enough, but I measured it with my cheapo digital caliper and it's about half as thick as my original bumper. I measured it at 0.09", compared to about 0.17" on the original.

Considering I don't intend to bump into things, I think this will be fine as long as I can avoid dimples from installing it.
