Here's my stable of trucks (pics)

The white one is a '67 with 250 & 3 on the tree. For Sale if anyone is interested. The flatbed is a '68, it's originally a 305 V6 truck, but it let loose last september and just got done putting in a 350. The silver one is a '71, it's my baby. Inherited it from grandpa when I turned sixteen and then worked my ass off to get it repainted that summer. Three years ago I pulled the worn out 307 and put in a bone stock crate 350. I got an internship at a restoration shop this summer in KC, so maybe i'll get some time to repaint it again and get it done right this time. Enjoy!!

Saulgoode - I went to my user cp, edit avitar, and choose the custom avitar then browsed my computer for the picker, resized it to 100 pixels, then saved changes. I think thats how it worked.

Canadian694x4 & Dubie - Yeah, I think its my favorite of all my trucks. Im planning on lifting it 4 or 6 inches and going to paint it flat black, glossy black, John Deere green or white. Glad to see yours is going good dubie.

Thanks,

Aaron Stanford

Hey Stanford.... that 71 looks mighty fine. Like you, I inherited mine ('69) from grandpa about 10 years ago. Did your gramps buy it new? I am the second owner if mine, and MY daughter has taken a shine to it, so if she wants to drive it when she grows up, she can be number 3 (all family owned). It makes for a good story later on in life, huh?

Man, if I wasn't so far away, I'd get that 67 in a heartbeat. I could use about half the body on my truck.

Putter - My grandpa didn't buy it new, but it has never been registered any where other than St. John. My uncle actually owned it before my grandpa, which is one of the reasons grandpa got it. My uncle isn't the best in keeping up vehicles. So the 71 became grandpa's and I's project. I passed in January of 99 of lung cancer, and then for my 16th birthday in Feb. grandma gave me the truck. I plan on keeping it so my kids can keep it in the family.

71longbed - The toolbox is a Seal-Tite by Deflecta Sheild. Its a real nice deep box that holds a lot of junk. The main reason for it, besides tools, was that I could hide me beer in there. Im planning on getting one or two CPL boxes to go on the flatbed.

Thanks for all the comments,

Aaron Stanford

They are Kumho Powergaurd AT's, six ply LT235/75/15 on a 15x7 rim. Im thinking of going with some 255/70/15's the next time I buy tires. The don't make that style of Kumho's anymore and I don't like the new tread design, otherwise I would stick with the Kumho's, I think they are a great tire.
