Thats a nice truck for sure. As for ID it looks to be a pretty standard c1000 that originally had the V6. Looks to be dana 44 rear axle do you know which transmission it has in it? I'm just wondering if it has been swapped out at some point as well since the shifter position just looks odd but that could just be camera angle or something, if all else the shift pattern might help identify it.

If the color on motor bugs you maybe take a few small bolt ons off and give them a satin black treatment to tone it down without having to spray entire engine.

To elaborate on Captainfab pointing out the TBI engine its the intake bolts that give away a vortec head even if it has been swapped to carb. The vortec heads have all the bolts going straight up and down and TBI head has center ones up and down and rest angled like older perimeter bolt heads.
