Exclamation 1968 GMC Suburban K10 4x4 Orignal Paint

Up for sale is a very unique and original 1968 GMC Suburban K10 that was special ordered out of a dealership in Sacramento. The original owners ordered it with a special and rare paint color of a white roof fawn poly center and white bottom the interior metal was also painted white which is uncommon as most would be the main body color. It has aged well in the California with a great patina look you can not recreate.
It is registered and insured in California with original black plates.

Copy and paste the link for more pictures https://drive.google.com/drive/u/2/f...cO6_0r_Fv8RDSr

The Suburban was optioned with the custom package which includes a chrome grill, front end trim, chrome bumpers front and rear, side trim and "custom" emblems and deluxe interior with vinyl door panels

The Suburban comes with extensive original paperwork including build sheet, protecto plate, owners manuals, original registration cards, etc

Rust exists behind the rear tires on the quarter panels, the inside rocker panels and kick panels that will need to be patched all very normal areas for these years trucks but it has been treated and sealed to prevent future corrosion. All Suburban specific areas are rust free which are the troublesome areas for patch panels.

Inside it features its factory two rows of full length seats with seating for 6 with most door panels and arm rests in good shape with a perfect original dash pad with zero cracks as a cloth cover was installed at some point in the Suburbans life. The threading on the drivers side sun visor has come undone and needs to be stitched. The seats have never ben recovered but are showing age the front is missing the cover on the drivers side and the stitching is splitting on the rear seat but the truck comes with two brand new "saddle" seat covers"

The original 327 with a 4 barrel carb has been recently tuned up with new wires, points, condensers, spark plugs, gaskets and paint and runs well.

Shifting is handled by the believed original SM465 4 speed with granny low

The transfer case is the famous NP205 known world wide for its strength.

The front axle has been upgraded to a later model Dana 44 with disc brakes all new stainless brake lines were installed in the disc brake conversion.

Power steering was added and it is equipped with factory power brakes.

In the rear it features its original 12 bolt rear end and has 3:73 gears front and rear.

The Suburban has been lifted about 5 inches with a DIY4x B52 kit in the front and shackle flip in the rear. This allows for a much smoother ride than traditional arching of the springs by running longer leaf springs.

Rims are 4x4 rally with trim rings and center caps tires are 32" BFG but the fronts should be replaced. Ideally the Suburban would look perfect on 33-35" tires

New

Body mounts, master cylinder, stainless brake lines front and rear, brakes recently serviced, shocks, original radiator has been re-cored, new drag link, battery,

Cons:

Rust in rockers/kick panels and behind rear tires

Needs carpet or rubber

chrome peeling on grill, dent on front fender eyebrow and rear near tail light.

This is a very unique Suburban and truly one of a kind they don't come up like this very often.

I have owned a lot of these 67-72 Chevy trucks over the years so can answer any questions you may have.

I will take 12,500 and reasonable offers will be considered

Would consider trades for a K5, K10 or other 67-72 trucks or a newer crew cab truck.

I just had a little one which is what makes me hesitant to sell but I'd be happy if it went to the right home.
