Re: fuse panel question
Yes there should be at least one accy you can put a male spade.( that one is not Fused you have put in line fuse) What ever accy that close to it what ever fuse is in the that one is what the wire is rated at (witch I think is 15 or 10 so if it more your going to have use some thing eles.
but have to look at your fuse box. Make sure if it is . There might be a few fuse option not in use that you can make your connection to. Test light time. If your fuse box had A/c you might have a few. you can get jumper fuse contacts.

Re: fuse panel question
Yes they had accessory plugs that plugged into the fuse block with clips on them to lock them onto the block

Re: fuse panel question
Go to www.repairconnector.com, and look at fuse taps and links on their menu. You'll find the tap and pigtail that you need for your fuse block

Re: fuse panel question
The 79 and later fuse panels used several different Pak Con connectors depending on what slot you wanted to use.
The slots were hot under different conditions. BAT, IGN, ACC-only, IGN/ACC, ... Get the GM wiring manual for your year. The connector part numbers and the function of each group of power taps are in the wiring manuals.
