Started Engine Compartment Resto

Ok Guys I have actually started the restoration of the engine compartment. My buddy and I started this afternoon. It took us about 90 minutes to get the truck this far. The engine is coming out as soon as I get an engine stand. The pan gasket is leaking like crazy the intake leaks, I’m going to go through all the gaskets and paint the whole thing up nice. Here are a few pics of where we are.

Your off to a good start. Getting all the front sheetmetal out of the way will help with room to work. Keep the pics coming...

Thumbs up

Good job so far, you are definately going about it the right way. As Ken stated, pulling the clip off will make it sooo much easier. Are you going to paint the firewall white as well while you are in there?
