under dash a/c pics? tips?
I tried searching but didn't find anything. I was cruising ebay looking for an under dash a/c unit that would work in my 70. I really don't wanna spend the money for vintage air kit I guess....
I also had the thought of trying a unit from a jeep wagoneer since a friend of mine has one in a parts jeep, but have been unable to go look at it. I also have a short pump 350 in my truck and it doensn't have all the holes in the front of the heads for some of the brakets I have looked at. Maybe I should just get a nascar coolsuit

I have a complete under dash A/C unit in a 70 GMC I will be removing if you are interested in it?? It has brackets for a small block. I can get you a pic tomorrow.

pic would be cool (pun not intended
)I might be interested. Does it seem to funcion, blowers run and such or is it still charged to the point you could run it? What type of pump was it using? A6, york, ect...

Here is a few pics of it. Not sure of the compressor type? The blower works and the compressor clicks on when you turn it on, but there is no belt on it. The compressor is not locked up, so I don't know why there is no belt? It is complete and everything looks ok?? Not sure what charge is in it, but there is pressure in the system.

thats a york its hooked to. if andyr354 isnt intrested I am for the under the dash part. I have a compressor already so I wont need the under the hood parts. dallas 71 was intrested in that anyway.
