I would talk to these guys:

Cliff Ruggles literally wrote the book on Quadra-Jet carburetors:

Guy does excellent work, he's built two Q-jets for me, both run great. Both start right up when cold, and once warm will fire the engine off with just a *bump* of the starter.

Mark is an old Buick racer, but don't hold that against him. He knows his stuff, and is super easy to work with - and reasonable prices don't hurt!

Re: Quadrajet rebuild

I was trying to spread the wealth a little. Both Mark and Cliff also do excellent work. Cliff has a monster backlog for rebuilds. I bought a kit and a book from him, because A) I already know how to rebuild carburetors, and B) Because I don't know everything about them.

Check out this rebuild.

Re-plated, primary linkage bushing installed, fuel tested.....This guy is in AZ. He does youtube videos on Q-Jets and I was lucky to find out he was just down the road from me. Been rebuilding these for years....

Re: Quadrajet rebuild

Here is his email if you want to contact him.

I have no affiliation with his business. He posted it in a few of the comments on the youtube videos. I did get his permission to post his information here. Guy does great work on Q-Jets.
