Fuel level sender adjustment
I recently installed a new fuel level sender on my 1969 C10. My low level reading seems close but my full is reading 3/4 tank. Is there an adjustment on the sender or is it as simple as bending the float arm to calibrate. I haven't checked the ohms yet either......Thanks for looking!

Don't know how much was storage and shipping damage to the shape of the float support wire and how much was manufacture error. I tied a thin string to the float and ran it out through the filler neck so I could run it through the range of motion with the lock ring secured in place on a new O-ring so everything was in the correct location. An empty tank will let you hear the float hitting the sides of the tank better too. Mine started out stuck all the way down and only needed a 1/4" adjustment to correct the clearance problem. Not much room for side to side error in our tanks.

Re: Fuel level sender adjustment
Thanks for the reply. I never thought it could be hanging up. I will look for that as well.
