van tilts are just a little longer...an inch, maybe two, and the leves on there are not right...the neutral safety switch needs relocated.
I think the PRND21 window is a little different...
Other than that, they are pretty much dead on.

If you list these on e-bay, make sure you list them under 55 - 57 chevy, and street rods too.

With or without mods? Without mods 67-72 Truck tilts and supposedly some GM motorhome tilts. With mods GM van tilts up until they put ignition on column. Mods include relocating N\S switch, collapsing steering shaft a couple of inches, and GM wiring harness adaptor.
Post on relocating N\S switch .
Wiring harness Part #1894851. About $4.

The part that is acutally longer is the regular shaft, if a guy wants to install one of these in a truck, he has to use the intermediate shaft from the old non-tilt column, and throw the short van shaft away. What you actually collapse is the intermediate shaft from your orginal column.

Confused yet???

I used a motorhome column in mine. I had to relocate the neutral switch, but the length was exactly the same, so no collapsing of the intermediate shaft was required.

Another memeber here, IRONBUTTLCMC, also used the same column in his truck too.
