Tailgate Rattle. Has anyone used these?

I'm curious if anyone here has used these?

If so, how do they hold up? Do they take away the constant rattle when on rough roads?

Re: Tailgate Rattle. Has anyone used these?

I tried these once...on a fleet long bed...they gave the tailgate a little more support at the hinge location, but I found most of the noise and rattles originated from the latches and looseness of the gate on the bump stops...

I used deeper bump stops and put a stick on square of hard rubber material (actually a cut up Rock Auto magnetic card!) onto the tailgate to minimize the noise...

If you have a Stepper...good luck trying to quiet those down...encasing the chains in clear plastic tube works best....
