My neighbor has a 1990 2wd Silverado with a 350.
My question is... does this have vortex heads? And what auto tranny comes in these. I see that it has overdrive

Vortec heads didn’t come out until 96. All 87-95 tbi engines have centerbolt valve covers.

Your transmission is a 700R4/4L60. It is not electronic.

Ok, thanks. I just crawled under it a seen a jasper stamp on it. So I'm going to have to get some numbers off 9f it to see what it is.
