Re: Project: Fun Daily Driver (Plus New QA1 Coil-Over Suspension!!!)

Quick question, I noticed Summit Racing stocks 3 front kits and the difference is spring rates. The choices are 650, 750, and 850, is there a spring rate that is suggested for a small block (350) truck or is it personal preference? How about the rear, is there a suggested pring rate for a swb step side?

Buck,
Not to butt in, but I just got through with the tech reps at QA1. they recommended the 750 pound springs for the front and the 200 pound springs for the rear. My 69 is a SWB Fleet side and running a 383 small block. The tech I talked to was Bill Foley.

Truck looks GREAT! I read through your build and have a couple questions. Are you using the Wilwood spindle? What are the specs on your tire and wheel setup? And how do feel the ride quality is on the coilovers vs a regular coil/spindle drop? Thanks
