how low can you go without a c notch or air bags??

I prefer the lowered look but not slammed on the ground so I was wondering how low can I go? Which kits are best and maybe some pics of your lowered truck?I think I would like a 20" wheel such a riddler or US Mag.

Mines on airlift bags. Not notched with 20" rear and 19"front. Camaro axle and s10 frone discs with drop spindles..can drive it that low as the headers are on the deck.

I am 5 inches lowered on the rear and I did add the notch. I am not sure you can comfortably get by without a notch at that level but I am sure some have. Personally I would be cautious at 5 or above if you are going to carry anything.
I am on 18 inch wheels. Static spring drop.

My static drop is ECE 4.5/6 without any problems. ECE parts are good. I'd call and chat with the guys at ECE, they are knowledgeable and helpful.

X2 on ECE. I have their 4/6 drop kit and am not using a c-notch. No problems to date. Sway bars will be a great addition as well.

ECE on the front of mine with 2 1/2" spindle and 2" springs. DJM flip in the rear which netted just over 7". No notch.

I don't think we're close to having that problem with a 4.5" drop in the front. Maybe if you're running 22's.

Except for the drop and the wheels my truck is all stock and all complete. 27” overall height front tire and 29” rear with no rubbing. The stepside requires careful backspacing of the wheels depending on the axle housing used to get big tires to fit but that’s about it on a 4.5”/7”.

Re: how low can you go without a c notch or air bags??

I'm curious on how you guys are lowering that much without a notch. I know my frame has been shortened etc but I have 6" of gap between tire and fender lip and only 4" between top of axel and frame. So I'd have to notch just to get rid of wheel well gap...
