2 1/2 x 3 1/2 rectangler tubbing
I'm reconnecting a Monza back halved frame that is a tube chassis for my 48 3100. I need to find some 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 tubbing. I have looked every where and can not find any. Does anyone know where I could find some? Thanks.

That is an odd ball size. You may have to make your own by having a 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" channel formed and boxing it with a piece of 3-1/2" wide flat bar or sheared sheet.

Are you positive thats the size tubing? Half sizes in square tubing aren't super common. I think 2.5x5" is the only one I've seen. 2x3 is a common size tho, is that not useable? (by telescoping it, or modifying the box size as Cap said.

The actual size is 2x3, but the front clip has been cut right behind the mid plate mount. So there is not a lot of room to re connect it back together.

Re: 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 rectangler tubbing
Ideas about what? You first said that you needed 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" rect tube and then said that what you are working with is 2" x 3". The 2" x 3" rect tube is readily available in several wall thicknesses. As for connecting, if there is not much room on the outside for a fish plate, use internal plates on both sides and plug weld the tube to the internal plates as well as welding the joint. And make the joint at an angle instead of a straight 90* cut.
