4L80E inot a 1988 3500.. HELP..
G'day everyone. We have a 88 Silverado 3500 RC dually, 7.4 with TH400, the box is history and are putting in a 4L80E.
Question. How do you do the speedo reading when using a EZ converter/adaptor. Does it come from the last multi plug at the rear of the box or from the speed sensors?????? Yes, I am having one of those days and can't think straight. |

Gooday mate!
Strange here I am an Aussie in NC...answering an Aussie in Royalla...and yes I know where that is... On your 4l80e there are two holes on the US drivers side for input and output sensors. The hole directly above the shifter linkage is the input sensor or turbine sensor. The other sensor hole located in the rear part of the case would be your output sensor. Use this one for your speedo. You can PM me if you need more help or just want to chat... Aussie, Aussie, Aussie....
