Re: Speaker routing
I removed a factory (or dealer add-in) speaker and wires from a junkyard truck. Wires were routed through right side A pillar.
Accessory installation manual is here: http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com...tai/index.html Radio installation: http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com...cpctai162.html |

Re: Speaker routing
and easiest way i've found to chase the wires into either A pilar is with narrow plastic banding like what comes on boxes strapped for shipping. feed the plastic strapping down into the A pillar from the headliner hole. tape wires to strapping and pull up.

Re: Speaker routing
I went through the A pillar also in my '52. Good bit of room cause I ran two sets of RCA hook up's along with speaker wires. My radio is up top between my visors and I have no wires running under my carpet at all.
